Adam Łakomy profesjonalnie zajmuje się fotografią od 2007 roku.
Jego główne obszary fotograficzne to sporty ekstremalne, fotografia e-sportowa, reportaż, dokument, eventy, fotografia krajobrazowa i przyrodnicza – ale nieobce są mu również takie dziedziny jak profesjonalna fotografia wnętrz, portrety oraz fotografia industrialna/urbex. Pracował w najtrudniejszych warunkach pogodowych realizując swoje projekty fotograficzne. W swojej karierze miał okazje brać udział w autorskich wystawach fotograficznych o Śląsku i skateboardingu. Nie jest fotografem konkursowym, choć zdobył liczne nagrody w Polsce i za granicą. Prowadził warsztaty z fotografii i fotografii otworkowej oraz był redaktorem naczelnym magazynu o fotografii sportów ekstremalnych „Triker Magazine”. Fotograficznie dokumentuje największe wydarzenia e-sportowe na całym świecie. Miał przyjemność wybierać prace jako jury konkursów fotograficznych.
Lubi wyzwania i podejmuje się najtrudniejszych tematów fotograficznych. Jego zdjęcia były publikowane w polskich i międzynarodowych magazynach drukowanych.
Fotografował i realizował swoje projekty w Japonii, Malezji, USA, Meksyku, Brazylii, Kanadzie, Anglii, Szwecji, Francji, Arabii Saudyjskiej, Niemczech, Grecji, Hiszpanii, Islandii i wielu innych krajach europejskich.

Adam Łakomy has been a professional photographer since 2007.
His primary areas of photography include extreme sports, esports photography, reportage, documentary, events, landscape and wildlife photography – but he is also familiar with such fields as professional interior photography, portraiture, and industrial/urbex photography. He has worked in the harshest weather conditions.
During his career, he has held several original photography exhibitions about Silesia and skateboarding. He is not a competition photographer, although he has received numerous awards in Poland and abroad. He has led workshops on photography and pinhole photography and served as editor-in-chief of the extreme sports photography magazine "Triker Magazine." He photographically documents the biggest esports events around the world. He had the pleasure of selecting works as a jury for photography competitions.
He enjoys challenges and tackles the most challenging photographic subjects. His photos have been published in both Polish and international print magazines.
He has worked and photographed in Japan, Malaysia, the USA, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, England, Sweden, France, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Greece, Spain, Iceland and many other European countries.
